The accusation is very heavy

May 03, 2024

Moscow [Russia], May 3: Both in world politics and international law, this accusation is very heavy and serious. The reason is that this toxic gas is listed by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) as strictly prohibited for use in wars and conflicts around the world.
The Russian side last night rejected the US accusations, while US allies, especially NATO, the EU and Ukraine , have not commented. The US only made accusations but did not provide any evidence. Verifying this allegation is not easy or quick. OPCW certainly needs time and must think carefully before expressing an official response to the US accusations.
For a long time, public opinion has had to be very cautious about similar accusations because of concerns that such accusations could be used as an excuse to launch war or military attacks. Therefore, first of all, it can be seen that the US is pushing to further isolate Russia , to mobilize the outside world to support Ukraine more and gather forces to deal with Russia. It is also possible that the United States uses this warning tactic to prevent and deter Russia from using chemical weapons in the war in Ukraine. What can now be certain is that the relationship between the US and Russia will continue to deteriorate and have no chance of improvement.
