Tehran condemns sanctions introduced by US, UK, Canada

Tehran [Iran], April 28: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani has condemned the sanctions imposed by the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada on a number of individuals and organizations related to Iran's military sphere, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.
On Thursday, Canada imposed new Iran-related sanctions on two entities and two individuals, including Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani. On the same day, the UK imposed new sanctions on Iran targeting its drone industry and banning the export of certain manufacturing components, while the US imposed sanctions on a total of eight Iranian nationals, 15 entities, including from Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Panama, and India, five vessels, and one aircraft.
"The Foreign Ministry spokesman strongly condemned the actions of three countries - the US, UK and Canada - in imposing sanctions against a number of individuals and entities of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the European Parliament resolution and accusations against our country, and criticized the support of several European countries for the unfair approach of the US government," the ministry said on Telegram.
