SSC, Sharjah Falconers Club conclude Championship for Falconry

Abu Dhabi [UAE], December 5: Sharjah Sports Club (SSC) and Sharjah Falconers Club (SFC) pulled curtains down on "Telwah" Championship 2023 with the participation of 684 falcons in five days of competitions.
The closing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Member of Sharjah Executive Council and Head of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, SSA Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah SRashid Mubarak bin Markhan Al Ketbi, Executive Vice President of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center and Secretary General of the Federation, Mohammed Khalifa Al-Badwawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Falconers Club, Abdul Aziz Al Ali, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Falconers Club, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, members of the Board of Directors and a group of invitees.
The tournament was held in a round-robin system without qualifiers or qualifications, as it was held over a distance of 400 meters in Talwah only. Competitions took place in three categories: sheikhs, local, and open.
At the conclusion of the tournament, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi honored and crowned the winners in all rounds, in addition to honoring the distinguished falconer Hessa Salem Saif.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi expressed his pride in the success of the tournament and thanked all falconers for their interaction and effective participation.
