Ras Al Khaimah Ruler welcomes Chinese Ambassador for talks on diplomatic-economic relations

Ras Al Khaimah [UAE], May 10: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has welcomed Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the UAE, and his accompanying economic delegation.
H.H. Sheikh Saud welcomed the Ambassador for discussions on opportunities for strengthening diplomatic relations and developing strategic partnerships with the People's Republic of China across various sectors. They also explored avenues to enhance economic ties towards achieving greater prosperity and sustainable development for both nations.
During their meeting, the RAK Ruler and the Ambassador discussed investment opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah, against the backdrop of the Emirate's remarkable cross-sector economic growth, which has elevated its regional and international standing and fostered continued progress and prosperity.
The Ambassador was joined in the meeting by representatives from Chinese financial institutions, construction companies, the energy sector and the country's media outlets, to discuss areas of collaboration with officials from various Ras Al Khaimah institutions, including RAKGAS, Marjan and Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone.
The delegation commended Ras Al Khaimah's thriving economy and its attractive investment environment, which is contributing to the growth and success of companies, investors and entrepreneurs from all over the world, spanning several advanced and emerging technological sectors. They expressed their gratitude and appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Saud for his generous hospitality and warm reception.
