Pyongyang [North Korea], April 17: North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on April 16 attended the inauguration ceremony of 10,000 new houses in the capital Pyongyang, a project under a 5-year plan launched in 2021.
North Korea's central news agency KCNA said on April 17 that Mr. Kim Jong-un attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of new apartments in Hwasong district, Pyongyang. This is part of a five-year plan with the goal of building 50,000 new homes in the North Korean capital by 2025.
Mr. Kim called for efforts to achieve the remaining goals for the five-year plan to "turn the capital Pyongyang into a world -famous civilized city , suitable for the strength of a mighty North Korea". in name and in reality".
Following the latest completion this year, North Korea has delivered 30,000 new homes in Pyongyang 's Hwasong and Songhwa districts since announcing the project during the 2021 meeting of the Korean Workers' Party.
