Washington [US], May 9: President Biden said that Mr. Trump will not accept the election results next November if he loses, and thinks that is really dangerous.
CNN on May 9 quoted US President Joe Biden expressing concern that his predecessor Donald Trump would not accept the results if he lost the presidential election on November 5.
"He may not accept the election results. I guarantee you that he will not accept, that is dangerous," according to the White House boss.
According to President Biden, America's allies are hoping he will be re-elected. "Look, I go around the world. Other world leaders, do you know what they say? This is no joke - 80% of them, after we had a big meeting , all said 'you must win... my democracy is at stake'", he said.
President Biden said comments made during the campaign showed that Mr. Trump would manipulate the presidency for his own purposes if he regained the White House.
"Mr. Trump said that he would make sure that the attorney general would prosecute the people that Mr. Trump wanted to prosecute, if he did not want to be fired. He said this about prosecution at all levels," according to Mr. Biden .
Mr. Trump did not immediately comment on the above statement. Meanwhile, the former US President just won another advantageous development, when the appeals court in the state of Georgia agreed to consider his request to remove an attorney general from the case accusing him of plotting to overthrow the verdict. election results in this state.
Mr. Trump was prosecuted by Attorney Fani Willis of Fulton County in the state of Georgia, USA, on charges of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
There was then much controversy about conflicts of interest because Ms. Willis had an affair with Mr. Nathan Wade , the lawyer she hired to participate in the investigation and prosecution of the former president. Mr. Wade resigned after the incident was discovered.
