Washington [US], June 29: According to CNN, in October 2023, Mr. Cuevas filed a complaint with Boeing and presented that Spirit changed the manufacturing and assembly specifications related to drilling holes in the front pressure bulkhead stabilizer of the 787 aircraft , without Boeing 's permission . According to him, that could compromise the aircraft's strength and air pressure. Mr. Cuevas was fired in March of this year after reporting the incident.

The US Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA ) emphasized: "We strongly encourage anyone with safety concerns to report them and we thoroughly investigate everything." The FAA received a total of 126 reports against Boeing this year and 11 reports last year.
