Colombian military says four dead as helicopter crashes near Panama

Mexico City [Mexico], February 7: Colombian authorities on Monday said that four people were killed and three injured when a military helicopter crashed near the border with Panama.
The UH-60 helicopter crashed while carrying out a cargo transport operation to the Cuti Binational military base in Colombia's western Choco department on Monday afternoon, the army said in a statement.
The four fatalities were found dead at the scene, while the three injured were evacuated to a medical centre in the municipality of Apartado, Antioquia.
The military said that an investigative unit would travel to the site to establish the circumstances of the crash. (DPA)
