May 07, 2024

Washington [US], May 7: CNN reported that Boeing's Starliner spacecraft is scheduled to depart this morning (Vietnam time).
As Starliner's first human orbital flight, the ship will take two astronauts from the US Space Agency (NASA) to the International Space Station (ISS), then stay here for a week and wait. conduct a series of tests, including short-term maneuvers of the ship, and evaluate its performance.
If the flight goes smoothly, Boeing's spacecraft could be approved by NASA to ferry astronauts to and from the ISS. This is considered Boeing's effort to compete with SpaceX, the company that cooperated with NASA to successfully send astronauts to the space station in 2020.
