Bangladesh records 971 new dengue cases, 6 more deaths

Dhaka [Bangladesh], November 27: Bangladesh reported 971 new dengue cases and 6 new deaths on Sunday, taking the tally to 308,167 and the death toll to nearly 1,600 so far this year, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) under the Ministry of Health said.
According to DGHS data, 36,992 dengue cases were recorded so far in November, after 67,769 in October.
The total 1,598 deaths included 250 in November.
The total number of recovered patients so far this year in the country stood at 302,974, including 1,297 new recoveries in the last 24 hours, said the DGHS.
