15 killed in attack on Congo refugee camps

Goma [Democratic Republic of the Congo], May 6: The death toll after four camps for displaced people were shelled in the Democratic Republic of Congo has risen to 15, authorities said.
Military governor of North Kivu, Peter Cirimwami, said 15 people had died and 35 were seriously injured. A spokesman for the Congolese armed forces in the province of North Kivu said fighters from the M23 militia fired on the camps. (DPA)
